Luiz Pedro Ribiero
Professor Luiz Pedro Ribiero began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the age of 13 in Passa Cuatro Minas, Gerais Brazil under Professor George Agusto. Originally Pedro was inspired to be a soccer goalkeeper and was challenged to lose 50 pounds. After he moved on from soccer he began competing & training with Ataque Duplo in Florianopolis where he received his Black Belt. He continued to compete and teach and found a deep passion for competing, teaching, and refereeing. Currently, he is a 3rd Degree CheckMat Black Belt Leandro Vieira and has been a black belt for over 10 years. His traditional style has brought many to where we are today including programs throughout California and Oregon. He is an IBJJF Certified Referee and is now with us at Ground Control Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & CheckMat Central California
